Community Connections Grants (CCG)

First 5 Sacramento provides mini grants, up to $5,000, for people like you, who are interested in organizing activities that promote the health & well-being of young children while building relationships with other members in the community.  The application for the next round of funding will be available on August 21st. Contact Alejandra Labrado at 916-876-5873 or labradoa@saccounty.net.

2-1-1

2-1-1 is a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week free information resource. Anyone can call for information and assistance with connecting to a broad range of community resources, including but not limited to children’s services, health services, housing, financial assistance, employment, food programs, and more. Assistance in different languages is available.

A connected community, where people know each other and help each other, can significantly improve conditions for a safer place to raise children.
